The story of the brain is a short video shedding light on how the human brai have been conceived of in different periods of time. I have watched this video twice and found it really interesting. Besides the pertinent content it has, the way it was animated together with illustrations included make it a perfect educational clip to share with your students.
I did not know that long time ago the greeks thought that thinking comes from an internal self which later on the Romans calls the " Homunculus " or the little man. No one suspected that thinking happens in the brain but compared to where neuroscience get us now, no one suspects that thinking happens anywhere else outside the brain. This fact alone got me thinking : Was the knowledge ancient people accumulated built on fallacies ? A question for you think about!
